For his longstanding contributions to Singapore's biotechnology industry, Dr Andreas Wallnöfer was awarded The Public Service Medal from the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) at Singapore's National Day Awards 2022.
Based in Basel, Switzerland, Dr Wallnöfer is a Partner at Jeito Capital, a global life sciences investment firm. He is also a fixture in Singapore biotech circles, having served for many years as Senior Advisor at A*STAR's Experimental Drug Development Centre (EDDC), Chairperson of Singapore Therapeutics Development Review's (STDR) expert review panel, and a member of the Molecular Biosciences Cluster Advisory Board.
